How much more money can I make?

Although the profit depends on many factors, like home characteristics, neighbourhood and season, we expect you to top long-term rental income by at least 30% (after our fees have already been removed). Our fees vary so please contact us for a quote.

How do you make sure my apartment is booked? What if I don’t get bookings?

At MadeToStay, we work with multiple property platforms such as Airbnb, Homeaway (VRBO), Expedia and Booking.com – allowing us to attract a wide range of guests. We also apply a dynamic pricing strategy to fill free dates or last minute cancellations. This way, your home will always have a high-occupancy rate. In some properties, we can guarantee income each month! By us being so active in ensuring your place is booked, this alone covers our fees compared to if you were to do this and learn everything yourself.

How do you make sure my property is safe?

As a property services company, the safety of your property is our priority, as if it were damaged, we can't rent it out and can't earn money either! So we're as careful as possible with who we let stay. Building on our experience, we’ve established a highly efficient way to keep things safe. This includes guest screening, deposit-taking and inspecting afterward. Also, with bookings through Airbnb, you may be covered by their Insurance policy up to USD $1 million.

How can I trust that my money is safe and owner payouts are accurate?

MadeToStay is one of the very few fully licensed and compliant short-term rental property management agencies in Australia. All owner funds are held securely in a registered company trust account and managed in accordance with Victorian trust accounting legislation.

Trust accounts are subject to strict record-keeping, reconciliation and independent auditing requirements, helping ensure every transaction is properly recorded and owner payouts are accurate.
